The President of India has bestowed the Arjuna Award upon para-athlete Sheetal Devi. Droupadi Murmu, the President of India, gave Sheetal Devi her honor.
Sheetal was born without hands into a poor family and comes from a remote mountain community in the Kishtwar area of Jammu Kashmir that has been impacted by terrorism. She and her family faced numerous obstacles in their lives.
