The President of India has bestowed the Arjuna Award upon para-athlete Sheetal Devi. Droupadi Murmu, the President of India, gave Sheetal Devi her honor.
Sheetal was born without hands into a poor family and comes from a remote mountain community in the Kishtwar area of Jammu Kashmir that has been impacted by terrorism. She and her family faced numerous obstacles in their lives.
The disadvantaged and those with special needs can find motivation in this. Although Sheetal is already well-known in the Kishtwar area, her strength and shakti are now being recognized on a national and worldwide scale. Asia has already achieved two gold medals and one silver medal,
Her current goal is to bring Olympic gold to the country.
